A name, that came into lime light overnight, a face that everyone started liking along with his film, the performance skills that are not less than any experienced actor became recognized and much appreciated, overall, this guy became the talk of the industry, with his debut film, in a prestigious production house, Yash Raj Films, ‘Band Baja Baraat’. The film turned out to be a success, so as the Hero in the film, Ranveer Singh and the rumor linking him and his on screen Love Anushka Sharma. This duo however, condemns their link up to be a rumor, but, Ranveer recollects his initial stages before getting a break. ‘They were very tough.

There was a time when I used to work as an Assistant Director, 24/7. I put on a lot of weight too. Then I decided to concentrate on becoming an Actor and started to work out. I have done a course in Theater Arts and Drama from a well known University in U.S and then returned back to Mumbai. I have been getting offers from well known film makers but, I did not accept any offer as I was waiting for a ‘Dhamakedaar’ break through and this came true with ‘Band Baja Baraat’, recalled Ranveer Singh.

The Actor though denies his relationship with Anushka Sharma says her shares an amazing rapport with her and at any given point of time, is comfortable in doing an intimate sequence with her.
