Actress Priyamani is well known in the entire South Indian Cinema. She is infact, National award winning Actress, for her amazing performance in various South Indian films. Even Priyamani was keen and known for her performance oriented roles initially. But, later, may be to experiment with her look, or may be to shed the image of the Actress who is known and first approached by the film makers for any performance oriented role, later being considered even to play out and out glamour roles.

The Actress managed to sustain in the industry for more than 5 years, in almost all the South Indian languages. But, these days Priyamani is hardly getting any film offers from any film maker atleast in one South Indian language.

It is quite obvious that Priyamani is no more in demand. There are new talented fresh and beautiful faces coming these days, and it is time for Priyamani to retire as a glamour Heroine. But, seems like Priyamani is not okay to accept this fact. The actress is still keen on bagging glamour roles and due to this wish of her, the Actress rejected to play a female lead role in a film made based on Smuggler Veerappan’s life. The film makers considered the name of Priyamani to make her play on screen wife of Veerappan. But, the Actress who was re thinking about the offer all these days, finally refused to opt out of it.
