Super talented director Anil Ravipudi scored his fourth success in a row with F2: Fun and Frustration. The comic entertainer featuring Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen released during Sankranthi 2019 and ended up as a smashing hit. The film made on a budget of Rs 35 crores raked Rs 81 crores in its final run. The film has been screened to all the top actors and filmmakers of Bollywood in special screenings with sub-titles.

Now, Bollywood top producer Boney Kapoor acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film. F2 will be jointly produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. Top director Anees Bazmee will direct this comic entertainer in Hindi and the lead actors, crew members are being finalized currently. The regular shoot will commence next year and many more official announcements would be made once the cast, crew members are final.
