Baahubali Is Not A Film That Can Be Easily Replicated : Prabhas

Ever since, the official announcement of Rajamouli’s magnum opus- Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the movie and Tollywood actor, Prabhas are grasping the headlines, and has earned the actor nationwide acclaim and love.

The actor, in a span of two years, with such never seen kind of popularity before, became a national icon. Prabhas is currently, busy promoting the magnum opus of Baahubali-The conclusion and revealed some important facts about him and his commitment towards the movie.

Prabhas, when recently asked, if he would use this popularity to gain his entry into politics, the actor said, “I have no political aspirations. Not now not ever. I will be a complete misfit in the political arena,” Prabhas said, and added that working on the Baahubali franchise was a unique experience.” “It was a privilege to work on a movie of international standards. I owe everything to Rajamouli because this is his dream and I merely supported him by taking out time.”

And when asked if he would do another film like Baahubali, he jokingly said, “I will die trying to do another Baahubali kind of film. It is not a film that can be easily replicated. Making another film like Baahubali is not an easy task. I believe only Rajamouli has the experience and vision to make a bigger film than Baahubali.”

Prabhas on several occassions said that shooting for Baahubali was a tiring experience, both physically and mentally. The actor, however went through all that pain and risked investing five years of his prime time as he had confidence on Rajamouli's vision.

The film is directed by Rajamouli, and also stars Prabhas, Rana, Anushka and Tamannah in the lead roles. The movie is slated to release on April 28 in world wide theaters.

Soon after the release of Baahubali 2, Prabhas will commence work on his next project. The new film, reportedly titled Saahoo, will be directed by Sujeeth and will be shot on a whopping budget of Rs 150 and in three languages.
