Exclusive: Friday - Dry day

Previously, on every Friday, a complete festive mood prevails among the cinema audience because of the new releases. But these days, the audience are coming out of that mood slowly, as the number of movie releases is getting reduced day by day.

Along with the less number of movies, even the success rate is getting down. Unless and until the movie is big, they are not able to come out. For instance, today there are more than half a dozen Telugu movie releases like Malini and co, Best actors, Dollar ki maro vaipu, Vikramarkudi love story and more.

But none of them could not come into the public talks, as no media is interested to hype the movies, through which they get nothing. Of course, media might not be blamed completely, as no business is meant to do charity, every one works for money finally.

So to save small cinema, the producers of the movies should at least control the budget on the movie and spend the maximum on the publicity, as it is that publicity which takes the movie move forward. It is to be remembered that in the past, great movies could not prove their existence, just because they did not have enough publicity.

Believing in mouth talk publicity is gone in the present days, as the small movies are not even getting enough theaters. So other than spending on good publicity, there is no other option to save a small cinema. If given enough publicity, every eligible small cinema would be a hit and no Friday would be dry day again.
