It seems like Baahubali team are aiming for the Guinness record and that might be the reason behind it, to create a 50000 square feet of poster.

Right from the beginning, be it Prabhas, Rana, Anushka, film budget and any other thing related to the film is big. And now in terms of the poster too, Rajamouli wants his film to create a record by having the big one. Regarding this, he ordered for a 50000 square feet of poster as shown in the image above.

For the release of this huge poster, an event was held in Cochin, Kerala. The entire cast like Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty and also the crew had attended the event.   
 
The film critics opine that, the reason behind creating the big poster is to convince the Guinness authorities for the official entry in the Guiness book of world records. In fact, A set of officials from the Guinness book of world records had reportedly taken part in the function to view and confirm whether the size of the poster is the largest ever and announce its inclusion in the Guinness book of records.

If it is so, it would be the pride moment for every Telugu film lover to have a Telugu film entry in world’s prestigious books.
