Muni was accepted by the audience to some extent. But Lawrence who was not satisfied with success, again directed the 2nd part which went to be a good success and Lawrence is also identified as a good actor through the film.
With the same enthusiasm, Lawrence is now concentrating on the release of the 3rd part of Muni which is titled as Ganga. Kanchana was accepted nation wide for its story and characterizations. No director dared to concentrate on a gay till date. But Lawrence could do it successfully which was even appreciated by the critics of the film industry for scripting a new point.
This time, with Ganga, if he again concentrate on gays, it would just be a repetition and audience might not get attracted to a similar point again. The guess on the theme of the film was actually started when the movie trailer was launched on Friday.
Most of the scenes in the Ganga trailer were just a replica of Kanchana. It has been a trend now a days that if a successful movie is delivered by a director, the next movie is going to be just a replica of the previous one. Dookudu-Aagadu, Attharintiki Daaredi-Son of Satyamurthy were the best examples for this logic.
Now its a big question, that whether Ganga follows this trend or creates a new trend with new subject.
