Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb is now Laxmmi:- Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is racing ahead with back to back hits. The top actor completed the shoot of Laxmmi Bomb long ago and the film was announced for a summer release. With the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic, the makers decided to release Laxmmi Bomb on a digital platform. There are talks that the film's rights are bought for a record price. The film is the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Kanchana and is directed by Lawrence. The trailer of Laxmmi Bomb created a sensation across the internet and kept huge expectations on the film. Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani played the lead roles in Laxmmi Bomb.

The film is facing the heat from Shri Rajput Karni Sena after they have sent a legal notice to the makers of the film. The notice said that the title is objectionable and it defames Goddess Lakshmi. To prevent controversies and to resolve the issue, the makers of Laxmmi Bomb changed the title of the film. The makers also announced that the film is titled Laxmmi and released an official poster about the same. This kept an end to the controversy. Laxmmi will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from November 9th. The film is carrying massive expectations. Shabinaa Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Akshay Kumar produced the film.
