Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi gets thumbs down from the Audience:- Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is working without breaks and he is managing to release three films every year. All his recent films ended up as blockbusters and the actor emerged as one of the highest-paid Bollywood actors. Akshay Kumar loved Tamil blockbuster film Kanchana and decided to remake it in Hindi. The film titled Laxmmi completed shoot long ago. Lawrence directed the film and Kiara Advani played the heroine's role. The film was initially planned for summer release but the coronavirus pandemic forced the makers to head for a digital release. Disney Plus Hotstar acquired the digital streaming rights of Laxmmi for a record price and the film started streaming from last night.

Leaving many in surprise, the film's reviews and word of mouth have been completely disappointing. Laxmmi is an utter disappointment and it offers nothing interesting. The entertainment doesn't appeal to the Bollywood crowds and the songs, the action falls short of the expectations. Akshay Kumar is slammed for picking up Laxmmi after a series of blockbuster films that are driven by interesting content.
