Mani Ratnam's romantic entertainer Kadali is going to be released on February 1. This was confirmed b the film unit. Yesteryear actress Radha's youngest daughter, Tulasi Nair is getting introduced to the silver screen with this movie while male lead is being played by another debutant Gautam Karthik. Mani Ratnam has the credit of showing sensitive emotions in the back drop of burning issues of the country. And not to forget the music with which he projects the depth of the character.  

If we look at Roja movie, the movie holds mirror up to patriotism yet it can also be termed as a classic love story. Kadali movie is also said to be of the same genre wherein Mani Ratnam explored the lives of Indian fishermen who accidentally entered Sri Lankan waters. In the back drop of this subject, he will project a love story. Lets hope that Kadal will be as successful as Roja.
