Prabhas starrer Rebel might have opened to negative reviews, but the craze for Prabhas won't stop hysteric fans making the film a blockbuster hit despite the flaws pin-pointed by the film critics. And Prabhas is obviously happy since the movie is a commercial hit even if it didn't win critical appreciation. With Rebel, the sources said it was agreed that Prabhas was not just an actor with immense talent but a star with enough stardom and fan base across the state. Following the footsteps of his uncle and rebel star Krishnam Raju, Prabhas shot into limelight with his debut movie Eshwar. While Varsham brought him first award, Chatrapati gave placed him among top ten heroes in Tollywood.

Now that he appeared in almost all kinds of roles and got thumbs up from critics for his outstanding performance in all films, Prabhas wants to don the role of Bhakta Kannappa (the legend of Lord Shiva's devotee). The same character was once played by his uncle Krishnam Raju and the movie became a sensational hit. Lets see whether Prabhas will get a chance to fit into the shoes of his uncle.
