Film world mourns Thilakan's demise

Tinsel world was today moved by the sudden demise of the 77-years-old Malayalam veteran Thilakan. Many prominent from the show biz expressed their heart felt condolence over his death. The 200 film old actor had acted in almost all the southern languages since 1979. He was introduced then by K G George's in 'Ulkadal'. And ever since then there was no looking back for the veteran who earned many rewards and won acclaims for various roles.

Thilakan is survived by two sons and two daughters. He is reported to have died due to a cardiac arrest in the early hours of the day at a private hospital. Many stars of the modern era sent their condolence to the bereaved family.

His last released film, was 'Ustad Hotel.' The demise of the actor would definitely leave an unfilled void in the Malayalam film world. Because he made an indelible appeal with his characters that portrayed the natural form of a common man.
