Film maker Anurag Kashyap, who has made it to Cannes Film Festival with his movie ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, was not shocked or disappointed when the movie received A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Starred by Manoj Bajpai, Richa Chadda and Huma Qureshi, Gangs of Wasseypur is not for kids, said the director. The music of Gangs of Wasseypur was launched recently in Delhi. Sneha Khanwelkar has scored music for Gangs of Wasseypur.
Talking on the music, Anurag Kashyap has said that people are liking the songs as they are desi. He has even said that he received so many compliments when Gangs of Wasseypur was screened at Cannes and out of them what he liked was that ‘the movie will be liked by everyone.’
Even though art films are often not that well received at box offices, Gangs of Wasseypur is likely to draw a large number of people to theatres since it was screened at Cannes.
