Anurag Kashyap's Ex-Wives Step Out to Support him on MeToo Row:- Bollywood's critically acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap has been facing allegations of MeToo after an actress named Payal Ghosh narrated about her bitter experience with the director. Soon, Kangana Ranaut slammed Anurag Kashyap across social media and demanded his arrest. His ex-wives Aarti Bajaj and Kalki Koechlin defended the filmmaker. Aarti Bajaj was married to Kashyap in 2003 and the duo parted ways in 2009. Anurag Kashyap and Kalki were married from 2011 to 2015. Kalki penned a note saying "Dear Anurag, Don't let this social media circus get to you. You have fought for the freedom of women in your own scripts, you've defended their integrity in your professional space as well as your personal life".
Kalki Koechlin worked with Anurag Kashyap in several projects in her career. Anurag Kashyap's first wife and editor Aarti Bajaj posted a note on her Instagram handle supporting Anurag Kashyap on the allegations. She posted saying "First wife here. You are a rockstar, Anurag Kashyap. Keep empowering women as you do and the safest place you create for all of them. I see it first hand with our daughter. If everybody spends the energy which they use in hating others constructively this world will be a better place. A cheapest stunt I have seen till now. First, it made me angry then I laughed so hard as it cannot come more framed then this. I am sorry that you have to go through this. That's the level of them. You stay high and keep using your voice. We love you".
Anurag Kashyap too responded to the allegations saying that he had no such thoughts and he never behaved so with any actress or woman in his life. Actresses like Taapsee who worked with Anurag responded and supported him.
