After several years, director K.S. Ravikumar is now teaming up with super star Rajanikanth once again to make as yet another variety film to enthrall the Rajani fans. Ravikumar will direct the super star for his next film ‘Raana’ in which Rajani will don three different roles after two decades nearly. Ace musician AR Rahman will compose music for this film.

If one remembers well, Rajanikanth’s wonderful performance in three different roles in the movie ‘Moondru Mugam’ in the 1980s, has catapulted the star to a new stardom and put him on high pedestal in the cinema industry. This movie was directed by Ravikumar.

The news is that ‘Raana’ will be produced by none else than the super star’s wife Lata Rajanikanth for Ocher Studios. Bollywood hot baby Deepika Padukone will play the female lead role opposite Rajani in the movie.  

Cinematographer Rathnavelu who worked with the super star for ‘Robot’ will work again for this venture while Rajeevan is the art director.
