India’s Cheapest EV Car from MG:- MG Comet small EV launched in India, with a price range of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom). From tomorrow (27th of April) EV Comet is available for a test drive in the Indian market, while they launched it last week and the company will open bookings from May 15th.
MG Comet is going to have a space grey interior and 10.25 touch screen infotainment system and 10.25 inch fully digital instrument cluster. The car is also equipped with safety features like a speed-sensing door lock function, speed alert system, ABS, airbags and reverse parking camera. The car has also internet inside and 55 connected car features like weather updates, navigation, traffic updates, music, etc. MG Comet EV got all the features of a mid-range car.

Coming to EV: A single charge will come on a range of 230kms and 1000 km will come on a cost of Rs 519/-. This small car is with 17.3kWh battery pack and a 42 hp power and 110 Nm torque electric motor to come for a range of 230Km. It is going to take 7 hours for a complete battery charge from 0-100 percent and 5 hours for 10-80 percent. This is India’s cheapest EV car.
While Tata Motors has got the better offering with Tiago EV price range starting from 8.69(ex-showroom, Delhi).
MG Motor targeted to sell 80,000-1,00,000 units in India this year as they sold only 48,000 units. MG gained more investments with comment EV and they expect the sales to have a high jump.
