Tata motor has recently launched a new dealer-level accessory package which is known as Sportz Edition in order to celebrate the sales of 50,000 Zests in India. The package includes a body kit with red skirts and ORVMs, enchanting body graphics, a blacked-out roof, extra chrome garnishing, door mouldings, bumper protectors, door visors and also new seat covers. The price of the package is scheduled near about Rs. 20,000. Initially, the company offered alloy steel within the package but after few days, the company said that the alloy steels will be available only for its top-end models.
The company has achieved this sale number just within 2years after the launching of Zest. Currently, the Zest is available in one petrol and two diesel variants. The petrol-driven car possesses a 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron engine which produces 90PS of power and 140Nm of torque. While on the other hand, the 1.3-litre Quadrajet turbo-diesel engine is integrated into two diesel variants which produce 75PS/190Nm and 90PS/200Nm respectively.
But since Indian customers are more inclined to conventional models hence theĀ Tata Motors is aiming that the sale of the Zest may go down in the coming months. While, on the other hand, Tiago has earned huge appreciation and that's why there are no discounts being offered on the car.
By contemplating the customers' interest, the company is now focusing more on its upcoming models like Tiago AMT, Kite5, Hexa , the Nexon compact SUV and also the Land-Rover based SUVs.
