Tata Motors To Test Their Luck In Electric Mobility Business:- Tata Motors is one of the leading vehicle manufacturing giants of the country. With the entire world looking towards electric vehicles to curb pollution and save fuel, Tata Motors is in currently in plans to join hands and ink deals to test their luck in Electric Mobility Business. Tata Motors bagged a tender from Energy Efficient Services (EESL) to supply 10,000 electric vehicles. It is now in plans to collaborate on various electric and hybrid vehicle solutions in the commercial vehicle segment along with passenger vehicle manufacturing.

Shailesh Chandra, president, electric mobility business and corporate strategy, Tata Motors said that they are looking for good partnership deal to deliver mobility and the best electric vehicles in the country. The discussions are on for charging infrastructure with Tata Power. For the localization of the components, Tata Autocomp Systems and Tata Chemicals are in talks. Tata Realty and Infrastructure are keen to operate on the platforms and TCS will be used for software and other app management methods.

Tata Motors is currently in search of an ideal model that can suit Indian roads and passengers. A 200-250 kms a day for an electric vehicle is decent in the country and is ideal going with the price. For mid-range, 140-150  kms makes a good deal. Tata Motors is in plans to launch a completely new electric car in the coming days. The new vehicle will be shown in Motor Show, Geneva.
