Rahane ton keeps England waiting

Ajinkya Rahane was the star of the first day of the second Test between England and India. Playing his first Test match at the Lord's stadium, Rahane made it a memorable one by scoring a century which also saved the Indian team. England captain Cook won the toss and elected to bowl first. The English bowlers made use of the greeny pitch and picked up wickets at regular intervals.
