England Takes Grip Over India In Their Second Innings:- The fifth and final test between India and England which was shelved due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has been rescheduled and it is now taking place in Edgbaston, England. After restricting England for 284 and getting a lead of 132 runs, everyone predicted that India would end up on a victorious note by a huge margin. Team India tumbled down for 245 in their second innings and set up a decent target for England. Joe Root (76 not out) and Jonny Bairstow (72 not out) made things easy for England and the team needed just 119 runs to level the series. India is leading the test series by 2-1. The England openers Alex Lees (56) and Zak Crawley (46) opened the match well.

After England lost three quick wickets, the predictions were favorable for India. But Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow made things easy for England. The team has 100 overs left on the fifth day and they just need 119 runs which would be an easy task for England. Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets among the Indian bowlers.
