Following the footsteps of Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme and Argentinian model Luciana Salazar, India’s leading model Punam Pande said today that she would remove her clothes completely and stand before a packed stadium naked if India wins the Cricket World Cup 2011.
“Being a hardcore cricket fan, I have decided to do this to provide inspiration to the Indian team,” he told media persons in Mumbai this morning.
“Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme and Argentinian model Luciana Salazar are my inspiration,” she said without mincing her words. “Our team must win the cup and I want to provide inspiration to the Indian players,” she said.
When journalists asked whether she would keep her promise in case India wins the Cup, she said yes but hastened to add that the Indian laws and the BCCI must permit her to perform her feat.
“I said I would stand completely naked in the stadium not just for any publicity but for providing some sort of inspiration for the Indian team to win the cup,” she said unhesitatingly.
It must be mentioned that Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme and Argentinian model Luciana Salazar said during the FIFA Football World Cup that they would stand naked in front of the spectators in case their countries won the world Cup.
