Paytm App Removed From Google Play Store:- Paytm app has been removed from the Google Play store because of the addition of the fantasy cricket tournament that was added which is against the policies of Google Play. However, the Paytm app will be available on iOS platforms through the Apple App Store. Google Play also pulled out the Paytm First Games app that includes the fantasy cricket with real money betting. The Google Play listing of the Paytm app is showing an error that reads, "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server". The Android users are now not able to download the Paytm app from the Google Play.

All the users who already installed the Paytm app on their Android mobile phones will be able to use the mobile wallet and other services that the Paytm offers. Paytm posted a tweet that the application would be restored very soon. Apart from Paytm, the Paytm First Games will not be available on Google Play. Google recently posted its gambling policy and they do not promote sports betting. With Paytm promoting fantasy cricket, Google Play decided to remove Paytm app from their list. “We don't allow online casinos or support any unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting. This includes if an app leads consumers to an external website that allows them to participate in paid tournaments to win real money or cash prizes, it is a violation of our policies,” wrote Google in its blog.
