Mobile game Flappy Bird has ended its journey as the developers have pulled it off from the Google Play and Apple iTunes App stores. The reasons for this decision was not mentioned by the developer Nguyen Ha Dong and he posted in his twitter account, “I am sorry Flappy Bird users, 22 hours from now, I will take Flappy Bird down. I cannot take this anymore.”
Reports say that the game went into legal troubles and so the decision was taken but Nguyen denied even this allegation. “Nothing to do with legal issues.” he added in his micro blogging account.
Flappy Bird is a side scrolling mobile game of a flying bird, which moves continuously to the right, between two vertical pipes. The bird shouldn't collide with pipes else the game ends. It was originally released on May 24, 2013 with support for the iPhone 5. The game was subsequently updated for iOS 7 in September 2013. In January 2014, it topped the Free Apps chart in the US and Chinese App stores. The game reported an earning around $50,000 a day.
