Thanks to Vietnamese jeweler Karalux, now get Apple iPad Air 2 with a 24 Karat gold plated design which is priced at USD 1,173 [ Approx Rs 73,000]. Also the jewelers have plans to bring iPad Mini 3 in 24K gold finish and 64GB and 128GB Air 2 models too. However, these models won't be available in the Indian sub continent.
The iPad Air pre-orders have begun through e-commerce websites Flipkart and Snapdeal is priced between Rs. 35,900 and Rs. 59,900. The iPad Air 2 (16GB model) with 3G connectivity is priced at Rs. 45,900. Apple claims that iPad Air 2 is as powerful as many personal computers with a 40% faster CPU and delivers 10-hour battery life.
The iPad sales have failed to meet the expectations for two straight quarters but the Cupertino based company did not lost the faith in their product. But in India, iPad sales are significant.
