After a much awaited release of the iPhone 5 on September 12, many critics had voiced that iPhone has failed to deliver. But think of it as a phone being upgraded slightly and sold for the same price as it predecessor, it is merely a better option to go for than the iPhone 4S.

1. iPhone 5 wields a 4-inch Retina display boasting a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels with a pixel density of 326 ppi.
2. The iPhone 5 is the lightest ever iPhone made as it is 20 per cent lighter than the iPhone 4S measuring a feather light 112 grams.
3. This is also thinner than the previous version the iPhone 5 by 18 percent and is only 7.6mm thick.
4. Apple iPhone 5 has the newest iOS 6. Though other phones would also receive the free update having a phone that has been hardware optimized for the software keeps you ahead in the race.
5. The iPhone 5 comes with an 8 megapixel iSight HD(3264x2448) camera which can snap pictures 40% faster that the predecessor. It also has the panorama mode included which can be used with a mere sweep of the phone. It is capable of taking pictures 28 MP in size. Apple Phone lets you shoot video in 1080p and snap pictures while recording.
6. The phone has a slick look with the body being made out of only glass and aluminium.
7. Apple iPhone5 4G LTE capable.
8. It is powered by the A6 chip - 2X faster CPU, 2X faster graphics though it is 22 per cent smaller. The GPU however had not been revealed.
9. The new earphones bundled with the phone boast of richer bass, better sound quality which have been optimized for a comfortable fit too.
10. Apple iPhone 5 a shorter dock for the better connection, Lightning had been added. It has all digital, 8-signal design, and is 80 per cent smaller than its predecessor.
