After Bypass Surgery For Your Heart, Morning Walk Is The Major Key:- After having a bypass surgery for your heart, it is advisable to have a morning walk for at least half an hour to get a sound sleep in the night as per the study. Several doctors say that they have seen their patients complaining of disturbed sleep after undergoing a bypass surgery. Hady Atef of Cairo University, Egypt says morning walk is the best therapy for the heart. "When the disturbed sleep continues for over six months, it exacerbates the heart condition. The patient's health will be put at risk and they may have to undergo one more heart surgery. It is very important to find ways to have a sound sleep and protect your heart" said Hady Atef.

The study had 80 patients aged between 45 and 65 years who had sleep disorders. These disorders started six weeks after they underwent bypass surgeries. They have been randomly allocated exercise groups: Aerobic or a combination of aerobic and resistance. All these patients were asked to do the sessions during the mornings for almost ten weeks. All the participants also walked on the treadmill for almost 45 minutes. After ten weeks, there have been changes in their sleep when compared to the past.

Aerobic exercise is suggested for all the heart patients said the doctors. It is just a physical activity that does not need a high level of exertion. Doctors say it can be walking, swimming or cycling and it should be done for 45 minutes every day.
