Man Drives Well and Women Drive Them crazy?

A study of neural connections in the brains of men women revealed interesting facts.

The researchers found neural connectivity from front to back within a single hemisphere in males.  It shows wiring with perception and coordinated action which helps in navigation. On the contrary it was found that the connectivity in female is from left to right hemisphere. It gives analytical and intuitive faculties.

Ragini Verma and her associates of Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania conducted tests on a total of 949 individuals out of whom 521 were women and 428 were male aged between 8 and 22 years using water based imaging technique to trace the fiber pathways connecting two different regions of the brain.

Ragini Varma says, “These maps show us a stark difference-and complementarity-in the architecture of the human brain that helps provide a potential neural basis as to why men excel at certain tasks, and women at others.”

The study shows that female have the connectivity with the cerebrum which is the largest part of the brain between right and left hemispheres.  On the other hand male showed connectivity with cerebellum the part of the brain that plays major role in motor control.

It also explains why mostly men are good at math and women at reading.

But it is also found by other researchers that the development in the connectivity happens on the basis of the society they grow up.  It also means that the connectivity is developed due to the priorities given by them.  That means it is not the man or woman the brain belongs to but the environment they grow up that may matter.

Still a lot of study is required to do but the people read these studies say in lighter vein that the men are crazy about cars so they drive cars and women are bent to drive them crazy so they do it!
