A US- based plastic surgeon is currently carrying out extensive research on botox  for women with severe cases of vaginismus - “the uncontrollable contraction of vaginal muscles that results in some women being unable to have intercourse.” Botox is  believed  to loosen up the vaginal muscles, abating muscle spasms and making penetration easier.

The normal treatment for vaginismus is protracted sex counseling, psychotherapy and medications. However, injecting botox into the vagina can alleviate the condition instantly, reveals the plastic surgeon.

Out of 78 patients  tested do far,  77 of them have shown immediate results.
