Apple has acquired PrimeSense, the 3-D sensor start-up at a price of 360 million dollars, according to reports in Wall Street Journal. The deal was confirmed by Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet.
Apple had been sponsoring researches in motion and depth capture by PrimeSense. Apple has not made clear as to how it will use PrimeSense's technology. The Israel-based semiconductor company can be used by Apple for its various products that are already in the market or the under development products
