A day saver ticket is a tradition in most of the places. It offers full day travel in the local travels of the concerned place. But an advertisement of this ticket has led to a controversy in UK. The reason behind the controversy might anyway be guessed by seeing the image.
On the bus, there was a poster called “ride me all day for just £3”. A woman, that too topless, advertising this way on the back of bus, would generally be taken in a negative way. Actually the intention of the company is just to publicize its ticket, but not creating any such controversy, this fact is known when the posters of a male person are also released.
Anyway the male person on the poster too is half naked and holding the same ad. That was even criticized and was removed immediately
When the posters were uploaded on Twitter, many of the intellectuals opined that it is not at all a right way to publicize a product, as it completely misguides the people. However when the issue turned violent, the bus company apologized about it. But the ladies are still not able to look at these services completely. By the way, women on the poster of the bus is famous singer Charlotte Church and the company name is Cardiff Bay-based bus company.
