Plea on PK dismissed

The Delhi High Court has dismissed the plea on 'PK' movie as the Bench did not find any offensive or hurting the sentiments of certain religions. A division bench of Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice R.S. Endlaw took the up the plea petition which sought a ban on the movie for making derogatory remarks on the Hindu God.

“What is wrong in the movie? We did not find any offensive in the film. This petition has not substance to be heard. Petition dismissed,” said the Bench. This is a sign of relief to the makers of 'PK'. Though few religious groups and right wings created some ruckus over 'PK' the collections of the film did not go down. The movie collected Rs 300 crores in domestic markets and is still attracting the audience.

PK stars Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles, directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
