Superstar Rajinikanth donated Rs 5 lakhs to the relief fund of Hudhud cyclone. During the audio success meet of Lingaa movie in Hyderabad, Rajini said he was sadden by the cyclone impact on Vizag and other North Andhra Pradesh. He also apologised to the people for not making to the call given by Telugu Film Industry citing personal reasons.

However, Rajini promised in the very same success meet that he would contribute in whatever way he could. As promised, Rajini today announced Rs 5 lakhs cash towards Andhra Pradesh chief minister relief fund.
