BJP senior leader and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya got call from Prime Minister's Office [PMO] and confirmed his berth in the central cabinet. According to the sources, Dattatreya might be alloted ministry of state for Railways while the portfolio of TDP MP Sujana Chowdary is yet to be known.

BJP has been facing severe criticism for not inducting any MP or leader from Telangana state and this was brought to the notice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Even the ruling TRS government has challenged the Telangana BJP leadership in this regards.
