The Election Commission has announced election schedule for Maharashtra and Haryana states this afternoon and both the states will go for voting on October 15th and the results will be declared on October 19th. In Haryana, Congress is looking to bounce back while in Maharashtra, Congress party is in power since 1999.
However, BJP and its high command is keen to be back in power in Maharashtra this time. It will be tough time for Congress to defend itself for the fourth time and the most worrying thing is Sharad Pawar's Nationalist Congress Party is not happy with the seat sharing. The Election Commission did not announce election schedule for Jammu & Kashmir and Jharkhand.
