KCR Unveils the Flag of BRS:- Telangana Chief Minister and TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is keen to make his impact in the national politics. The veteran politician also announced that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is now Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). Twenty one years after the formation of the party, the party leadership approved the proposal made by KCR. The Election Commission of India issued a letter approving the name change of the party from TRS to BRS. KCR has signed the official letter that is received by the Election Commission of India which is also a reply for accepting the order. The formation program took place in Pragathi Bhavan this afternoon. KCR unveiled the BRS flag and a foundation ceremony will take place soon.

KCR and TRS leaders asked the supporters to reach Telangana Bhavan this afternoon. KCR's resolution for the name change took place on October 5th to change the party name from TRS to BRS. All the TRS MLAs, MPs, MLCs and other crucial leaders were present. Karnataka ex-Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, actor Prakash Raj and some of the farmer leaders were present. Without making much changes, KCR unveiled the party flag and the Telangana state was replaced with the Indian nation symbol. All the old flags and flexis are removed from the party office and the BRS flag was unveiled. KCR will soon tour across the nation before his party would participate in the parliamentary polls that are scheduled to take place in 2024.
