Former PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana has supported the decision of Vijayawada as the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh. However, Botsa found fault in the process, it got approval in the Assembly and opined that the government should have dealt in a better way. These statements of Botsa has surprised everyone because earlier, he lashed out TDP government and said only for real estate business, government wants make Vijayawada as capital.

Botsa also appreciated YSR Congress party over demanding a debate on the capital issue. “In a democracy, every leader should get an opportunity to express their views and concerns in relation to a subject. Nevertheless, I support Vijayawada as capital of AP,” added Botsa.
