Kerala Governor Sheila Dikshit is likely to step down from her post as she met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at a time when BJP government is pushing UPA appointed Governors to quit. The speculations grew stronger as reports have confirmed that she sought President of India Pranab Mukherjee's appointment later in the day.

Aam Aadmi Party has accused the three time Delhi chief minister in corruption in connection with the Common Wealth Games scam 2010 and just when she is about face the investigation, then UPA government appointed her as Kerala Governor.
