Uppal Skywalk Ready For Inauguration:- The first ever pedestrian-friendly skywalk at Uppal crossroads is nearing its completion, which cost Rs 25 Cr. Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) planning to open the skywalk shortly for pedestrians. 20,000 civilians will be benefitted from Uppal Skywalk every day.
The 660-meter skywalk is six meters above the ground level with 37 pillars. Skywalk is going to have six entry and exit points 1) Metro Station – Nagole Road 2) Ramanthapur Road 3) GHMC theme Park 4) GHMC office 5) Uppal police Station- MRO office and 6) opposite Uppal electrical substation.
