Two detained in Mohali Blasts Case:- The Punjab cops have reportedly detained two people in connection with the blast in Mohali that took place yesterday as per the reports from the Intelligence Wing Headquarters of Mohali. A Russian rocket launcher has been recovered which was used for the attack on Old Sohana road which is less than 1 km from the blast site. There are a number of suspects in the case and several others have been detained for questioning. DGP VK Bhawra called it a challenge and he said that TNT explosive was used. Pakistan-based gangster-turned-terrorist Harwinder Singh, alias Rinda was the man behind the blast.
Teams of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Intelligence Bureau inspected the site. 10 kg of RDX from various locations. The accused traveled to the site in a white car and a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was fired from the street that reached the third floor of the building but it did not explode. It damaged the glass doors, furniture, window panes and computers in the building. The suspects took the Airport road and fled towards Ambala. They crossed the Dappar toll plaza. The building had no CCTV footage and the cops are working hard to collect the entire footage from the nearby surveillance cameras. Two of them have been detained and they are brought to Ambala for questioning.
