USA Buys The Whole Stock Of The Coronavirus Drug Remdesivir:- The United States of America bought all the available global supplies of the anti-viral drug Remdesivir which is one of the two drugs that is used to treat the coronavirus patients. USA bought the stock for the next three months. The United States Department of Health Services (HHS) that it secured more than 5 lakh treatment courses of Remdesivir. They inked a deal with Gilead Sciences and Remdesivir will be sent to US hospitals till September. 100 percent of the production from July and 90 percent of the stock from August and September would be sent to USA.

"President Donald Trump has struck an amazing deal to ensure Americans have access to the first authorized therapeutic for COVID-19. To the extent possible, we want to ensure that any American patient who needs remdesivir can get it" said HHS Secretary Alex Aza. Remdesivir is the first drug to show improvement among the coronavirus patients in the clinical trials. Remdesivir received full approval from the Japanese Health Regulators. USA is one of the most badly hit countries of the globe due to coronavirus. Over 1.27 lakh people passed away in USA to date due to coronavirus.
