13 Still Missing in AP Boat Tragedy:- The boat accident in Devipatnam mandal, East Godavari district left tragedy in several families. The search operations continued for the fourth day in a row and six more bodies were located. 13 passengers who were on board are still missing and the officials clarified that it is impossible for them to stay alive. The relatives of the missing have been requesting to find at least their bodies. Out of the 73 on board, 26 have been rescued by the locals and 34 bodies were recovered till date. The rescue operation has been massive across Godavari river and it is quite tough due to the water flow in the river.

Officials said that there would be more than 80 people in the boat when the tragedy took place. If this is true, the number of deaths may take a rise. Kakinada port director submitted a detailed report on the incident. East Godavari Collector ordered for a Magisterial inquiry on the incident and the complete report would be submitted for the government in 60 days. The officials also clarified that it is impossible to bring out the boat which reached rock bottom.
