Fake Parcels for KCR and Others: Industrial Chemicals Found:- The Hyderabad cops have been on a lookout for the culprits who booked 62 fake parcels in the name of several VIPs of Telangana. The parcels were addressed to the Chief Minister, his family, several police officials and other VIPs of Telangana and they are said to have contained some harmful industrial effluents. What's so surprising is that the bookings were made on the name of two Osmania University professors. The primary investigation revealed that they had nothing to do with the parcels.
The parcels were brought to Secunderabad post office last Friday. Since the intake was concluded, the man was asked to bring them on Saturday again. He is said to have paid Rs 7000 for 62 parcels which were addressed to KCR, KTR and Kavitha along with several police officials. The packages remained in the office over the weekend and on Monday, the officials notices foul smell coming from them. The higher authorities opened the packages and found bottles containing black-colored liquid which is said to be a chemical. They alerted the cops and they took over the investigation and sent the samples to the forensic laboratory. They also found photocopies of a three-page letter addressed to the dignitaries.
With no CCTV cameras at the Secunderabad post office, the cops are finding it tough to locate the culprits. They are verifying the nearby CCTVs to find the person who brought the parcels to the post office.
