Kamal Gets Anticipatory Bail in Godse Remark Case:- Top actor and politician Kamal Haasan's words created a stir of controversies and Kamal has been badly criticized by a section of people and his fans. The Madurai bench of Madras High Court granted anticipatory bail for the legendary actor after he sought protection in a case filed by Hindu Munnani Katchi for his comments made on Nathuram Godse. Kamal has been booked for promoting enmity after Kamal said that Godse was the first ever terrorist of the country and he was a Hindu. This did not go well with many Hindu groups and they expressed their anger.

Kamal Haasan has been asked to appear before Aruvakurichi magistrate in 15 days. Soon, bail was granted for Kamal against a bond surety of Rs 10,000. Kamal applied for the bail on May 16th. FIR was registered under sections 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion) and 295A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings) of the Indian Penal Code. After Kamal made these comments, the actor and politician was attacked twice during his public meetings.
