Minority Woman Offered TDP's First MLA Ticket:- The leading TDP in AP is keen on cashing all the castes and cater to all the people across the state in the upcoming Assembly and Parliament polls. TDP decided to bank on muslim minorities in the Assembly polls in aP. The first MLA ticket from TDP has been declared to Shabana, a woman NRI TDP leader and a minority. She is said to contest from Vijayawada West constituency. Jaleel Khan is the sitting MLA from the segment and he decided to step aside citing health issues. Jaleel Khan recommended Shabana's name and Chandra Babu gave his immediate nod for the request.

TDP in the future is said to allot several seats to minorities and the backward castes. As per the update, Guntur 1 seat too will be assigned to a muslim minority. There are strong speculations that actor Ali will contest from this constituency. TDP is currently finalizing the candidates and Chandra Babu is in plans to announce the seats one by one. TDP has special plans to announce the list of candidates at the earliest and make them campaign all over in their respective constituencies.
