Mastiff dog sold for US $ 2 Million

In what could be the most expensive dog sale ever, a  Tibetan Mastiff has been sold at nearly USD 2 million a report said. The golden hared mastiff are considered as the symbol of luxury and a Chinese property developed bought this one year mastiff puppy for 12 million yuan [$ 2 Million].

The Tibetan mastiff weighs 90 kilograms and is 31 inches tall. It resembles like a lion and are extremely loyal and protective. Mastiffs' are said to be capable of confronting predators the size of wolves and leopards.

The dog's breeder Zhang Gengyun told the Chinese daily Qianjiang Evening News just like panda's Tibetan mastiffs' are rare and so they are price high. While some Chinese believe that Tibetan mastiffs are holy animals which bring health and security to their owners and so are they are buying with huge amount.
