Tollywood director Puri Jagannadh these days seems to be revealing quite a bit of secrets that he was hiding in his stomach. On the release of his film Heart Attack, Puri revealed that the movie was supposed to be done with Mega brother Nagababu's son Varun Tej but somehow the project did not materialize and later he unveiled how he approached Powerstar Pawan Kalyan and how the movie Badri was made.

Puri Jagannadh being an assistant director, wanted to meet Pawan Kalyan to narrate a story. So he consulted cinematographer Chota K Naidu and asked whether is it possible to meet Pawan and narrate a story. Then Chota told to Puri that to narrate the story to him and if he likes, he would recommend Pawan. But Puri was in dilemma as the concept of Badri is a man in love with two women at a time.

'What if Chota doesn't like? So he won't able to meet Pawan to narrate story?' like such stupid questions crept in this mind and so Puri narrated 'Itlu Sravani Subramanyam' story to Chota. He liked the plot and Puri got a chance to meet Pawan. However Puri narrated Badri story to Pawan and got a nod from him. But Pawan questioned  Puri it seems, Chota said a suicide story for me and this story is completely different. Then Puri replied that is a different story.

This story was revealed by Puri himself in his brother Sairam Shankar's Dillunnodu music launch. Later Badri was made and the rest was history. Well directors should also be smart enough not only to grab opportunities but also to create chances. Puri created himself a chance and made proper use of it.
