The Union Minister for Human Resouces Development MM Pallam Raju who has submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister was asked by the PM to work as a Minister as the Ministry is important as he announces at Bangalore.

Pallam Raju who is attending a conference of All India Conference of Higher Education Minister at Bangalore today told media representatives that he is continuing in the Ministry as per the insistence of the Prime Minister who said that the Ministry he is holding is an important one and should be attended.

He said, "My three colleagues and I had submitted our resignations. We were reflecting what the public in our area felt. But, the Prime Minister said my ministry was important. I will not let the ministry suffer because of the Minister”.

That means Pallam Raju will not press the resignation for its acceptance.  At the same time he also announced that he will not withdraw it.

Meaning, on the records he has resigned but in practicality he is working!
