Usually a new party is floated when the existing party does not promise any chances to one to come up (float).  A revolt springs up when a second in charge is made to remain in the second position for long.  Organisations, associations, unions and spiritual organizations also split because of the problem in the sharing of power.  

Nandamuri family supported Chandrababu Naidu when he took reins of the party with the understanding that proper positions will be given to the members of the family.  But it did not happen the way it was expected by them.  Nandamuri Balakrishna became so sensitively close to Chandrababu that he cannot think of opposing him due to the marriage of his daughter to Chandrababu’s son Lokesh.  

Nandamuri Harikrishna although was made some seat adjustments, he was not given a prominent role in the party.  But as the situations are evident and some information received from the close sources to corroborat it, Harikrishna wanted to promote his son Jr.NTR in TDP but Lokesh taken as the heir apparent is being strongly supported by his father Chandra Babu and father in law Balakrishna.  

The offended Harikrishna showed his anger whenever a situation came up.  In the recently conducted Mahanadu, TDP’s anniversary, Harikrishna and Jr.NTR showed their indifference to the party although they claimed that it as their father/grandfather’s founded party.  Jr.NTR stayed away from Mahanadu telling that he was not invited and Harikrishna attended Mahanadu just for the sake of attendance refusing to wear the party’s yellow scarf.  

These things made the observers in political circles to come to the conclusion that Harikrishna must be planning to float a new party.  Or he may support TDP founder NTR’s loyal party workers who migrated to other parties which also serves the purpose of weakening  TDP.
