Have you seen old Hollywood movies that showed huge spiders entering cities and town and taking them down while mercilessly killing anyone in their way. Spiders, as tiny as they may be, are creatures that are feared by almost every one, except for the insect lovers of course, on Earth. Can you imagine these little silk spinners going everywhere around your city which is covered in sticky web?

The scene is no longer just a fictional movie, Santo Antonio de Platina in Parana, Brazil has witnessed something Hollywoodish. Though the size of the spiders is not as exaggeratedly big in the “Eight Legged Freaks” their sheer number is alarming the crowd in the city.

There are hundreds and thousands of spiders swarming in several places in the city weaving an intricate network of web all around the houses, trees and electrical poles in Parana. One user submitted a video to the popular video sharing website, YouTube after the incident went viral only a few days ago.

Translating from Portugese, the vide description says, there could be hundreds (maybe thousands) of spiders gathering between poles in the town of Santo Antonio de Plantina / PR. They add that they are unaware of the reason why there is such behavior in the spiders yet and would keep the users posted once they know the cause. Watch the video for yourselves!

Scary, if you have to live around so many spiders, preventing you from doing your daily chores. Pray to god that they are not poisonous!
