English Vinglish Movie review: Walk out with big smile

Acclaimed beauty of the Indian tinsel world, Sridevi's launch vehicle for the second innings is receiving 'thumbs up' from the movie goers across the nation. The  global release of the multi lingual 'English Vinglish won many hearts in the first two days of its release. The feel good factor of the film is its hilarious entertainment as Sridevi, a middle aged house wife tries to muster English to compete with her cousins settled abroad. The various vagaries faced by the lady form the hilarious part of the film.

The film reviews proved the awesome drawing power of the starlet who commanded the national audience with her unique versatility. The result thus proves that Sridevi is one star remembered by everyone from Kashmir to Kanyakumari would not be a slogan to flatter her, but a reality.  

Earlier about her re-launch vehicle the Female Superstar said, 'English Vinglish was a right script for me to make a comeback. I loved it when director Gauri Shinde narrated it to me.' The cast includes Adil Hussain, Mehdi Nebbou and Priya Anand.  

As Shashi, the uncomplaining housewife of modern India, Sridevi enacts her portion  with her signature style acting. In a few minutes after the film opens up, the actor walks into the hearts of the million people with her histrionics that were missed onscreen for sometime. She was at home, even after the much longer break.
